Robert Kiyosaki’s book, Rich Dad Poor Dad, summarizes what my dad did in order to be successful in business. I’m not making this up. My dad didn’t read the book (he’s illiterate) but he’s a successful businessman and a role model for me. The book served as an explanation why my dad did this, why he decided to do that and such. For me it was not a book packed with financial advice but it’s a book of explanation and definition. So, I can attest that Mr. Kiyosaki’s book is not a scam or fraud. My dad’s a living proof of it. (By the way, my dad is not Mr. Kiyosaki.)

In my opinion, his book isn’t about using that technique in real life. It’s more of like a motivation to actually try and doing something about your thought about money. I use it as a motivation to succeed not a tool. It’s like the bible, you don’t actually have to follow it’s direct path but it’s ideal lesson of the story.

I was told that Robert Kiyosaki himself went through tough times, staying at friend’s home, with no money on hand and yet still fighting for financial freedom. His story has really inspired myself.
